Klotz Octane Booster Klotz Octane Booster is a concentrated tetraethyl lead substitute formulated to increase the octane rating of gasoline up to 10 numbers or more. Helps eliminate engine damaging detonation, spark knock, pre-ignition and pinging from low octane gasoline. Modifies the burn speed and flash point of gasoline to create a stable combustion chamber flame front, maximizing power and performance. Stabilizes oxygenated gasoline to prevent leak-out conditions. Provides needed upper-cylinder lubrication that is missing in unleaded gasoline. Increases fuel mileage Cleans injectors, carburetors, and catalytic converters Catalytic converter and O2 sensor safe No MTBE Absorbs moisture in the fuel system Preserves gasoline up to 16 months For gasoline only One pint (16 fl. oz.) Recommended Applications: 2 and 4-stroke engines Blends With: Gasoline or ethanol enriched fuels Directions: Protect painted surfaces, wash off immediately with water to prevent damage. Will discolor paint, plastic, and fiberglass. Octane Booster: 1 oz. of Octane Booster per gallon of gasoline will raise octane by 2 1/2 numbers. Gasoline Stabilizer: Preserves gasoline during storage. Add 1 oz. of Octane Booster per gallon of gasoline for 6 to 8 months, or 2 oz. per gallon of gasoline for 12 to 16 months.
