The oil change interval for Toyota vehicles can vary depending on the age and model. New Toyota models require synthetic oil, and the oil change interval should be every 10,000 miles. However, Toyota also recommends 5,000-mile service intervals to check fluids.

For Corollas made in 2009 and after, the recommended oil is 0W-20.

The Toyota Venza requires 0W-20 synthetic oil, but 5W-20 can be used if the former isn’t available. However, it should be replaced with the recommended type at the next oil change. The 2021 Toyota Venza uses 0W-16 synthetic oil. If SAE 0W-16 is not available, SAE 0W-20 oil may be used. However, the owners manual states that the 0W-20 oil must be replaced with 0W-16 at the next oil change.

The Yaris is recommended to use 5W-30 oil in most cases. 10W-30 can be used in a pinch, but it should be changed out at the next oil change. Some Yaris models may require synthetic oil and will need oil changes every 10,000 miles. The general recommended interval is 5,000 miles.
